Hi! I am Sophie and I am predominantly a Motherhood photographer, but I also shoot a limited number of weddings per year.
I have been photographing weddings for over 15 years, capturing timeless and honest love stories across the South Coast.
For me, wedding photography is about more than just beautiful images—it’s about storytelling. I focus on natural, heartfelt moments that reflect who you truly are, from quiet exchanges to joyful celebrations. Whether it’s the nervous excitement before the ceremony, the tearful speeches, or the laughter on the dance floor, I’m there to document it all with authenticity and warmth.
I feel most at home with a camera in hand, blending into the moments, ensuring that when you look back at your wedding photos, you don’t just see how it looked—you remember exactly how it felt.

I don’t believe in stiff, overly posed wedding photography—I want your photos to feel real and full of truth.

The Full Digital Package Includes all of the following:
-Full Coverage from bridal preparations through to the first dance
-All final high-res shots on USB (roughly 500-600 shots) with royalty-free use
-Post-Production
-Password protected online gallery to easily view and share your images with friends and family
-Pre-wedding meeting
Booking Your Wedding Photography
A £300 deposit is required when booking, which guarantees the date for you. There are no travel expenses within an hour of Dorset. For other UK and destination weddings please use the contact form to get a bespoke quote.
My Style
Shooting using a fine art photography style, I use natural light to create a soft and fresh look. The details are some of my favourite images and I love to capture as much of the atmosphere of the day as possible. The couple portraits are THE most important and I like to work with my couples to create stunning images they can value for years to come.

I would love you to photograph our wedding, when should we book?
I recommend booking as soon as you have your date and venue secured! Popular wedding dates, especially in spring and summer, tend to fill up quickly—sometimes a year or more in advance. If you’re planning a smaller wedding or an off-season celebration, I may have more flexibility, but it’s always best to reach out early to secure your date.

Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely! I’m happy to travel for weddings, whether it’s a beautiful venue nearby or a destination wedding. Travel fees may apply for locations outside my usual area—just ask, and we can discuss the details!
How long will you be with us on our wedding day?
Coverage depends on the package you choose, but I typically start with the getting-ready moments and stay through to the first dance (or beyond if needed!). If you’re unsure, I can help you decide what coverage suits your day best.
We are so awkward in front of the camera. Will you help pose us?
Yes of course! I totally understand being awkward, because I am too! The experience is relaxed – prompted rather than posed. I promise to guide you throughout and ensure you feel at ease.
Do you take posed family photos as well as candid shots?
Yes! While my style is natural and storytelling-focused, I know how important those classic family photos are. I’ll guide you through a relaxed and efficient group photo session so you can get back to enjoying your day.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Weather is unpredictable, but don’t worry—I’ll work with whatever the day brings. Rainy weddings can be incredibly romantic, and I always have backup plans for beautiful indoor or covered locations if needed.
When will I receive my images?
I know you’ll be excited to see your photos! I aim to deliver a small preview within a few days and your full gallery within 5-6 weeks after your wedding. To view and download your images, as well as share with family and friends.
Will we receive all the photos you take?
You’ll receive a curated selection of the very best images, carefully edited to tell the story of your day. I remove any duplicates, blinks, or test shots to ensure you get a gallery full of meaningful moments.
Do you offer albums or prints?
Yes! Your photos deserve to be more than just digital files. I offer high-quality albums and prints to help you create something tangible and timeless.
What if you’re ill or an emergency happens?
In the unlikely event that I can’t attend your wedding, I have a trusted network of professional photographers I can call on to step in. Your wedding memories are too important to be left to chance!
Do you offer a second photographer?
I work solo to ensure a consistent, personal approach to your wedding photography. My style is all about blending in and capturing the day naturally, and I’m confident in my ability to document all the important moments. If you’re having a very large wedding and would like additional coverage, we can discuss alternative options to best suit your needs.
