Hello!

My name is Sophie and I'm a Dorset Photographer

First and foremost I’m a Mummy.

I always knew I wanted to be a mum and as one of six children myself, family has always been close to my heart. As well as being a mother, I’m a wife, sister, photographer and the queen of cosy!

And it’s this that makes me different. Not the fact that I love everything to do with textures and being cosy...

but that I always set the scene and style the space, seeing the things that you don’t see and creating a sense of ambience.

It’s this combination of visuals and vision that are the trademarks of my style along with an emphasis on connection and trust, building a real rapport with my clients.

I am most at home with a camera or a cuppa in my hands, with the chaos and chatter of children surrounding me – my nieces and nephews, my little boys Finley and Bowie or the newborns and toddlers who attend my intimate family shoots. I feel like I get to know each and every one.

I’m a family girl, through and through.

My photographs are not just about quality, they convey character – natural imagery that reflects you authentically.

A little bit about me

I’m a little (a lot) obsessed with to-do lists, I absolutely love being a working Mummy and I’m one of those crazy/annoying mums who enjoyed giving birth (twice)! Read my Birth Story Here!

The beach is my happy place

My favourite place to be is on the sand, with a coffee in my hand and I especially love photographing Family or Maternity sessions on the beach.

Im one of six children

I have four sisters and one brother and absolutely love being a part of a BIG family… although I am happy with just two children myself. I don’t think I could handle six little ones running around haha!
