As mothers we are always the ones seeing the moments happen and the ones who ensure the moment gets captured.

Those first smiles, first steps, the first day of school. But who is making sure OUR moments are captured, those little glimpses of motherhood, the squidgy baby kisses, blowing raspberries on podgy thighs, the milky drunk sleepy cuddles with them nestled into our arms?

Most of the time these moments go by unnoticed by anyone else, we might get a few tired selfies and the odd snap we ask our other half to take. My most treasured keepsakes of me with my boys were taken by myself, with a tripod! But most mummies are not photographers and don’t have this option!

This is why I have created The Motherhood Collection, so that I can be the one to capture these memories for you, even when you don’t really feel like being in front of the camera. But trust me, future you will be so very grateful you invested in your own moments, as well as theirs.

We had Sophie as our wedding photographer back in 2017 and absolutely loved her style of photography (very relaxed and informal) so when we started our family a few years later, we instantly knew that we wanted to get some family photos with Sophie again and booked in for a family shoot. When I found out I was expecting again, I booked on for Sophie's "Motherhood Collection" and had a total of 4 shoots from bump to just after our baby's first birthday. Each shoot was so relaxed and Sophie was able to perfectly capture those precious moments of our growing family. The Motherhood Collection starts with

A Maternity Session on location or in your own home.

A moment to pause amongst all the preparations and bond with your growing baby and cherish your growing body. When baby arrives I will then come to your home and capture your new little family, just as you are, in that blissful sleepy newborn bubble, with an at home Newborn Photography session.

And then when you are starting to really get into the swing of motherhood, we will take some time for just you and baby.

Those months of maternity go by fast yet the days seem long. The days spent together just the two of you, with sleepy cuddles on the sofa, afternoon walks in the park and coffees with mummy friends. When your little one is arounds 6-8 months old, your Mummy and Me session will be a chance to cherish these days.

And finally… its time for the icing on the cake. Celebrate babies first birthday as well as you both reaching this major milestone, with a complimentary (yes free!!) outdoors Family Session. An adventure outdoors for all the family, to capture the fun, love, giggles and toes in the sand.

Sessions are booked in advance by paying the £300 booking fee.

The remaining balance of £735 is then spread across 6 monthly instalments of £122.50

-A one/two hour at home or on location photography session (within the Dorset area)

Frequently Asked Q's

The collection includes FOUR photography sessions (a Maternity session, Newborn session, Mummy & Me session & a Family session).

Sessions fill up very quickly and in advance, so around your 20-week scan is the best time to book. Your maternity session will be when you’re between 28-34 weeks pregnant. This is when your bump is showing nicely but you are still able to get around easily and comfortably.

To secure your booking there is an upfront fee of £300 with payment plan options for the remaining balance.

This depends on the type of session you are having… for newborn photography your session will take place in your own home, I will bring along my camera and a selection of baskets and props to choose from. Family, Maternity & Mummy & Me sessions are usually in a picturesque location on the Dorset Coast or in the comfort of your own home. I don’t shoot in a studio — I believe your photos should feel real, natural, and full of genuine connection. As a motherhood photographer Dorset, I capture you either in the comfort of your home or outdoors at a beautiful local park or beach. There’s nothing better than finishing your session with a barefoot run through the waves — those playful, love-filled moments make for the most treasured memories.

All images are placed onto your very own password-protected online galleries. You will be able to view and download your chosen images as well as purchase more from the upgrade collections.

The turnaround time for all session galleries is within 2-3 weeks.

Yes of course! I have options to add more digital images as well as purchase prints, frames and albums. I absolutely love for my customers to print and display their photos!
