Sophie is absolutely fantastic! She did a newborn photoshoot for our twins and the images are just so beautiful! The fact it could be done in the comfort of our own home made the whole process so easy and stressfree. She’s such a natural with the babies and they very much enjoyed the cuddles! I was feeling really self conscious but she really puts you at ease and the images are so natural I’m so thankful she talked us into being included too as they are so special to look back on! 100% recommend to anyone xx
If you have any doubts about booking a family photoshoot just take a moment to flick through Sophie’s portfolio and you’ll be convinced! At 6 months pregnant with a toddler in tow I can’t say self care has been the top of my list and so I didn’t expect to feel great about having my picture taken. I quickly forgot all about that as Sophie made the 20 minute sunset session so relaxed and fun! She knows all the tricks to get the perfect photo, while keeping it feeling natural and pressure-free.
Sophie captured the magic and happiness in our family, and all of the quirks of our little girl. I actually teared up when she sent through the photos, never did I ever think we’d be so lucky to have photos like them. We’ll definitely be booking more sessions as our family grows. Sophie came to our home when Rox was only 11 days old. We liked that the photos were done in our own home as there was no rush or pressure to get everything ready and to get Rox out of the house and they also felt more special and personal. The whole experience was so lovely and Rox was happy and calm with Sophie when getting ready for each photo! She was patient as Rox was cluster feeding so we had a few mini breaks, however this resulted in some beautiful breastfeeding photos while I’ll treasure forever. Will definitely go back to Sophie for any future photo shoots, thank you so much for capturing some special moments of the new born days!
Our session with Sophie was so lovely and relaxed. Having 2 young children and a dog at a photoshoot did make me feel a bit nervous beforehand, but Sophie made us all feel completely at ease and captured some wonderful memories for us as a family. Would 100% recommend to anyone xx
We had a family photoshoot booked in with Sophie at the end of August and it was so much fun! Sophie was amazing with our little girl and caught some lovely family photos which we will cherish forever.
Sophie is truly wonderful at what she does, I have taken a thousands pictures of my daughter and none of them compare-you just cant beat professional photos with a fab photographer!

Sophie came to our home when our newborn son Heath was two weeks old. She captured the most stunning photos and really put us at ease for the whole session. The images are absolutely beautiful. I’m so happy I invested in a newborn photoshoot with Sophie, I plan to use her to capture future memories in the future x

Sophie captured our newborn family photo shoot perfectly, in our own home, including our two rogue spaniels! She was very patient, and allowed us time for baby care (nursing, nappy changes, etc) between photos. We love all the photos that she sent through to us!
Sophie is completely amazing at what she does. From the start of the booking process to when your photos come through, Sophie pays very close attention to detail, from choosing colour schemes to her patience! We are totally in love with our newborn photos of our precious daughter and will cherish them forever, thanks to Sophie.

Sophie is such a great photographer, in fact she’s actually a miracle worker – we had a shoot with her to ‘capture’ our lives as they are at the moment… 3 kids (1,4&6) plus a dog and not a single one of the kids (or dog) seemed to get the memo that we are actually a happy family. The kids were either being really silly and annoying or scowling/wailing at the camera. Sophie was really patient, very relaxed and friendly and assured us that she’d still be able to get some nice photos. I didn’t believe her for a second and yet when the photos came through there were so many really lovely ones!! Amazing quality and really great shots of the kids, and of me (mum) and the kids, which is rare as I’m normally behind the camera and of our family as a whole – exactly what we wanted! Thank you so much. We’ll definitely be back to capture the next stage.
Sophie was absolutely amazing for our family mini shoot! I have wanted to do this forever and just hadn’t got round to it. My two boys can be wild but she knew exactly how to get the best from them. She was professional, organised and made the whole family feel so at ease. Have recently had a newborn shoot with Sophie for my daughter and we are thrilled with the final pictures. Sophie is passionate about her work, she took her time and was led by my daughter’s comfort needs with feeds and changing. She also had amazing patience with my boisterous 2yr son who joined for sibling pics! We had a newborn photo shoot for our baby when he was just over a week old. Sophie was brilliant with him and really laid back about all the feeds and nappy changes between photos! Sophie makes you feel very comfortable. The photos we have are amazing and we couldn’t be happier with them!
Highly recommend Sophie Bowdler Photography spent over an hour at Upton Country Park having a very relaxed professional family photo shoot with two teenage prankster boys and my husband absolutely love the photos every single one you have captured us as a family perfectly and love the relaxed images no false smiles in sight. Just loved the whole experience, Kasper was luckily a dream and very cooperative with the positions and props used.
The pictures then came swiftly afterwards and we just love them! I just wish I had done new born shoots with the other four children I have. Highly recommend Sophie and would love to go back for another shoot when he’s older.
Sophie was lovely totally put me at ease as I was stressed out due to my baby crying all morning before the photoshoot! Sophie was brilliant with her managed and to get some beautiful photos. I have bought some frames and going to give them as Christmas presents for the grandparents/aunts and uncles. Would definitely recommend xx
Sophie is a very talented photographer. When you see her at work, and the effort she puts into her shots, you can understand why they come out the way they do. Sophie made us all feel so comfortable, and let our four year old go at her own pace. I highly recommend having a newborn photshoot in the comfort of your own home with Sophie.
I highly recommend Sophie. When I was planning my proposal to my now fiancé I spoke to Sophie to discuss my plans- Sophie was fantastic at helping to settle my nerves and make great suggestions such as timing of the day to ensure the sun was in a perfect position to capture the perfect photos. The photos make it look like we were the only ones on the beach they look great. Sophie was excellent from start to finish and captured the moment that I proposed perfectly. We have just received our USB with all of our photos on and we absolutely love them all! Sophie was absolutely amazing on the day and just fitted in with our guests, you could hardly tell she was there! All of the photos are perfect and capture the whole day so well!
