First and foremost I’m a Mummy.
I always knew I wanted to be a mum and as one of six children myself, family has always been close to my heart. As well as being a mother, I’m a wife, sister, photographer and queen of cups. When you spend so much time setting up and styling shoots like I do you get quite the accumulation of cups, I seem to have one for every client!
And it’s this that makes me different. Not the fact that I have lots of cups lying around but that I always set the scene and style the space, seeing the things that you don’t see and creating a sense of ambience. It’s this combination of visuals and vision that are the trademarks of my style along with an emphasis on connection and trust, building a real rapport with my clients.
My photographs are not just about quality, they convey character – natural imagery that reflects you authentically. I am most at home with a camera or a cuppa in my hands, with the chaos and chatter of children surrounding me – my nieces and nephews, my little boys Finley and Bowie or the newborns and toddlers who attend my intimate family shoots. I feel like I get to know each and every one.
It’s always been about family. Even when it comes to the branding side of my business – the creative community feels like a family of its own and I love to be a part of this.
I’m a family girl, through and through.
