If you have any doubts about booking a family photoshoot just take a moment to flick through Sophie’s portfolio and you’ll be convinced! At 6 months pregnant with a toddler in tow I can’t say self care has been the top of my list and so I didn’t expect to feel great about having my picture taken. I quickly forgot all about that as Sophie made the 20 minute sunset session so relaxed and fun! She knows all the tricks to get the perfect photo, while keeping it feeling natural and pressure-free.
Sophie captured the magic and happiness in our family, and all of the quirks of our little girl. I actually teared up when she sent through the photos, never did I ever think we’d be so lucky to have photos like them. We’ll definitely be booking more sessions as our family grows. Sophie is such a great photographer, in fact she’s actually a miracle worker – we had a shoot with her to ‘capture’ our lives as they are at the moment… 3 kids (1,4&6) plus a dog and not a single one of the kids (or dog) seemed to get the memo that we are actually a happy family. The kids were either being really silly and annoying or scowling/wailing at the camera. Sophie was really patient, very relaxed and friendly and assured us that she’d still be able to get some nice photos. I didn’t believe her for a second and yet when the photos came through there were so many really lovely ones!! Amazing quality and really great shots of the kids, and of me (mum) and the kids, which is rare as I’m normally behind the camera and of our family as a whole – exactly what we wanted! Thank you so much. We’ll definitely be back to capture the next stage.
